Albany police searching for missing 15-year-old girl

ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police are searching for a 15-year-old Albany girl who has been missing since Monday.

Sharmaine Quimbley is 5 feet 9 and weighs 170 pounds, Albany police say. She has black hair and brown eyes.

"At this time, officers do not believe she is in danger, but her family is concerned about her health," APD officials stated. "Family protection detectives add that any adult found supervising or harboring the child in a home will face charges."

Sharmaine was last seen Monday walking away from Outback Steakhouse on Westover Boulevard. Police do not have a description of the clothing she was wearing at the time.

Anyone with knowledge of Sharmaine's whereabouts is asked to contact Albany police.

UPDATE: Sharmaine was found late in the evening on July 18 on Lockett Station Road. She was unharmed.
