ALBANY — While a family slept in their home early Friday morning, gunshots were fired into the structure.
Albany Police Department officials said Sandra Jest, 51; Tamellya Weaver, 29; Termayne Jest, 18; Jacobe Weaver, 11, and Jada Weaver, 3, were awakened to the sound of gunshots around 1 a.m. Friday.
The family told officers that several bullets entered the front of their residence at 1122 August Drive, with one bullet hole discovered in a Honda Accord parked in their driveway.
Phyllis Banks, spokesperson for the Albany Police Department, said Thursday there were no arrests, no suspects or no motives.
