ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 33 incidents on Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 200 block of Davis Street, the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive and the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Battery on the 1700 block of West Oakridge Boulevard;
— Entering autos on the 1100 block of Gillionville Road and the 800 block of 10th Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 200 block of Shelby Lane, the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue, the 600 block of Willard Avenue, the 600 block of West Second Avenue, the 500 block of Seventh Avenue and the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Jeffries Avenue;
— Lost or misplaced property on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 2500 block of Cherokee Drive;
— DUI less safe on the 800 block of Ninth Avenue;
— Domestic disputes (unfounded) on the 900 block of North Davis Street and the 2000 block of LaFayette Circle;
— Harassing phone calls on the 400 block of West Oakridge Avenue;
— Wanted persons on the 400 block of West Oakridge Avenue, the 700 block of Byron Road and the 1100 block of Gillionville Road:
— Theft by deception on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 2200 block of Pace Street, the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue, the 700 block of Willard Avenue, the 2200 block of Toledo Drive and the 400 block of North Cleveland Street;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Armed robbery on the 200 block of North Carroll Street;
— Soliciting to vehicles on the 1100 block of Gillionville Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Traffic accidents on the 2000 block of the Liberty Expressway, the 2800 block of Radium Springs Road, the 4400 block of Sylvester Road and the 3400 block of Sylvester Road;
— Family violence on the 1400 block of Pippin Lane.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 21 calls on Wednesday, available records show. Incidents included an Albany Police Department assist, a shorted oven element, an EMS assist, a fire safety program, a vehicle accident, food left on a stove, a structure fire, a downed power line, activated alarms, a Dumpster fire and a trash can fire.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 48 calls on Wednesday, including 26 medical calls, 20 trauma calls and assists for the Albany Fire Department. Medical calls included 15 calls for people who fainted and miscellaneous pain calls, four respiratory calls, three altered mental status calls, one cardiac arrest, one seizure, one chest pain call and one diabetic call. Trauma calls included 10 auto accidents, seven falls, two assaults and one burn call.
