Police/Fire/EMS report July 27, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 50 incidents on Thursday into the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of North Jackson Street, the 400 block of Heard Avenue, the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue and the 1400 block of Dawson Road;

— Misuse of 911 on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Entering autos on the 500 block of South Harding Street, the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 2600 block of Doublegate Drive and the 2200 block of Pearce Avenue;

— Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 200 block of Slater King Jr. Drive, the 100 block of South Davis Street, the 800 block of Blaylock Street and the 400 block of Gaines Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 300 block of Vick Street, the 200 block of Pinson Road, the 400 block of Cannon Avenue and the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Assault on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Theft of services on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Theft of lost or mislaid property on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Battery on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way, the 800 block of West Highland Avenue, the 600 block of West Tift Avenue and the 2200 block of South Jackson Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 900 block of Jolly Court, the 800 block of Cedar Avenue, the 500 block of North Madison Street and the 1400 block of East Mercer Avenue;

— Wanted persons on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue, the 500 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 200 block of Pine Avenue;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Theft by deception on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Suspended license on the 2200 block of Leonard Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of Pine Avenue, the 500 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 700 block of Mobile Avenue and the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Aggravated sodomy on the 1300 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Attempt to elude on the 1400 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Recovered property on the 1700 block of Greenvale Road;

— Identity fraud on the 1300 block of South Mckinley Street;

— Forgery on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Family violence on the 3200 block of War Eagle Avenue and the 6100 block of Elliot Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday, available records show. Incidents included alarm malfunctions, an EMS assist, an alarm activated by cooking, a transformer fire, a Dumpster fire, a shorted microwave oven and a faulty water valve.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 60 calls on Thursday, including 44 medical calls, 15 trauma calls and one assist for the Albany Fire Department. Medical calls included four seizures, four respiratory issues, three chest pain calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, one O/B labor call and 26 various medical calls. Trauma calls included six auto accident victims, five assault calls and four falls.
