The Final Chapter wondered how long it would take for welfare to show its true colors and impress upon the more intelligent people the destruction it has caused and give a glimpse of what the future holds in store for us.
Apple just announced that it is going ahead with plans to build new Macs, even though there is a shortage of skilled labor. Las Vegas has a shortage of skilled laborers and cannot meet its demands for such with a housing boom going on.
Here lies the problem with paying people to do nothing. They, or some of them, have gotten a high school diploma without having met the true qualifications. If everyone who was on welfare were made to go to work, even doing the most menial task, we could solve these problems. This is only going to get worse.
As Nero continues to jet around the country playing golf, the U.S. continues to slide down into the abyss. He certainly is not the example I would want my children to follow. Dr. King said he looked forward to the time when people would judge others on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. That’s what I’m doing.
I said it in an earlier article and I want to reiterate it. It’s OK to want milk for your cereal, but everybody needs to take their turn at milking the cows.
More later from The Final Chapter.
