CAMILLA -- Clyde S. Taylor, 80, of Doerun died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Agape Health and Rehabilitation Center in Moultrie.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at Cool Springs Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Tom Rogers and Rev. Ronald Barrett will officiate.
Active pallbearers will include Lee Taylor, Cody Taylor, Gary Jones, Glenn Jackson, Ken Taylor, and Dennis Taylor.
Born August 25, 1932 in Worth County, Mr. Taylor was the son of the late Addie Lee and Ollie Mae Everett Taylor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Mr. Taylor retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Management Analyst and he also retired from Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. He was a member of the Doerun Masonic Lodge #151 and a member of the Hasan Shriners of Albany.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Kenneth Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Imo Jean Hall Taylor of Doerun; one daughter, Debra Hodges & husband, Stan, of Sale City; one son, Randall Taylor & wife, Kimberly, of Doerun; one sister, Bobbie Walker & husband, Roger, of Sylvester; one brother, Kenneth Taylor & wife, Linda, of Leesburg; four grandchildren, Celena Duckworth & husband Jason, Gary Jones & wife, Elizabeth, Lee Taylor & wife, Hanah, and Cody Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Gabrielle Sigmon and Samuel Jones.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
