ALBANY, Ga. — The Homebuilders Association of Albany and Southwest Georgia has made it possible for one lucky person to turn $100 into $10,000 at the organization's annual reverse raffle benefit for the Albany Advocacy Resource Center.
The raffle, part of Friday's Boot-Scootin' Boogie soiree at the Hasan Temple, features live and silent auctions, cash prizes, barbecue and the music of local favorites Stephen Harrell & the Dusty Boots Band. Oh, and someone's going to walk away $10,000 richer.
Tickets for the reverse raffle, which are $100 and are available at www.albanyarc.org, include entry for two to the Boot-Scootin' Boogie, one raffle ticket, dinner, an open bar and the rest of the evening's events. Persons who buy three tickets get an extra ticket free.
Festivities start at 6:30 p.m. Friday. For additional information, contact Laura Calhoun at (229) 347-3910.
