ALBANY — A woman who police contend was responsible for a crash in May in which a motorcyclist was killed has been charged with vehicular homicide.
Judy Ann Hatcher has been charged with vehicular homicide and failure to yield stemming from the May 8 wreck involving William Frantz, 52, of Worth County, near the intersection of Johnson and Sylvester roads.
Frantz, who was on a motorcycle, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
According to the warrant for the vehicular homicide count, which is a misdemeanor, Hatcher failed to yield the right of way while turning left, causing the crash.
Hatcher was booked into the Dougherty County Jail and issued a $1,700 bond, which was paid June 14, according to court records.
