Folks are getting tired of this. MCSS has already started cutting back. Not because of the budget, they are cutting back because the war is about over. No longer need those folks. Head Start program has never worked, DCSS is a fine example of that, so do away with that free babysitting program. You have your younguns, raise them.

Obama says it's your fault. I say how can that be? I doubt Sanford had anything to do with it. I would be proud had he stood up to it and said we owe it to the people to settle this, and we do need to cut spending. However I never envisioned those words ever crossing his lips.

Obama said he was not a dictator--he was the president so he was limited by congress. Biggest bunch of BS I ever heard. This time, the dictator was not able to bully anyone to get what he wanted....

Yeah, but when the economy tanks he can blame it on the Repubs. Companies are holding hundreds of billions because they don't know what this guy is going to do next. That won't change for awhile. He has done so much on executive order to mess with their business they cannot depend on congress to keep him in check. It is going to be interesting to see if the MSM maintains suction or if Woodward is a precursor.

I remember when Harry Truman said "the buck stops here", and JFK said after the Bay of Pigs invasion failed said "I am the senior officer of this administration, I take full responsibility." Even football coaches take the heat when their teams fail. And then we have President Obama who seems to constantly be blaming George Bush or someone else or anybody else for all of the failures and missteps of his administration. Leadership where art thou?

Yep, and it is just a matter of time before the naysayers and detractors start to disappear. Just like Nazi Germany when Hitler first took power.....

So I sat down to do my household budget at the beginning of the year.

The first thing I did was make a list of what I spent last year. I had budgeted $5,000 for groceries, but I only spent $4,200 last year, so I wrote down $5,250 as my 2013 budget number for groceries. I had budgeted $5,200 for gas, but I actually spent $6,000, so I wrote down $6,300 as my 2013 budget for gas. I had to put a new roof on the house last year, $10,000, so I wrote down $10,500 as my new roof budget number. I didn't spend anything on surgery last year, but my starting number from the year before was $30,000, so I wrote down $31,500 as my surgery budget.

I kept going like this until I had covered every line item of my household budget.

I made $100,000 last year, and my budgeted expenses are $132,432, so I see I'm going to be little bit short. So I went to my boss, & told him that I needed a $32,432 raise to cover my expenses.

I told him that I had a great plan to cut back on my total expenses, to the tune of almost $28,000 over the next ten years, and by golly, if I didn't get that plan underway by March 1, he'd only have to give me a $31,687 raise.

Well, it's March 2. As it turns out, I didn't get my plan underway. I just couldn't seem to decide upon in which of my 11,000 houses I should turn down the heat by 2 degrees in order to cut my target amount of expense. Also, with having to play golf every weekend, I just never got around to it. Actually, I just found out that my last great plan, which enables me to buy car insurance AFTER I have a wreck, is really going to wind up costing me an additional $260,000 a year. But that's a whole different matter.

Anway, here's the thing. Would you believe that my boss had the unmitigated gall to only give me a $31,687 raise? Now what is going to happen to me? I'm going to lose everything. I'll be homeless. I'll starve. My mother won't love me any more. My teeth will gain a yellowish tint.

Folks, welcome to the way the federal government handles our money. Sounds like pure genius, doesn't it?

We need to follow this up with even deeper spending cuts.

Very soon, all civil service employess on the MCLB will face a 20 percent pay cut. The Majority of Defense Contractors on the MCLB will not have their contracts renewed. Training and repair budgets will be cut to the very necessities, federal programs will be cut, meaning people will be out of work, and children will be facing removal from headstart and other educations program. This is the tip of the OBAMA iceberg. Think what 20 percent loss of income will do tthe albany tax base and revenue, think what will happen to the local economy when defense contractors on the MCLB will be out of work and competing for employment. Many will have to leave the area to find work, there again depressing the local economy further. Think what you will, but think what happens to your family if you lose 20 percent of your income, with fuel prices at 3.65 per gallon, food prices climbing, medical care out of this world and rising and your income just went in the toilet.

But remember, even though this was Obama's idea, the democrats will blame the republicans. We don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem.

Somehow they messed up, and let the President chose what to cut. He will cut things that directly affect the voters selectively so the Voters will become upset. An across the board cut, and the removal of some of these idiotic grants and foreign aid would be the real first point of cutting if he had America's economic future in his heart. However he is well schooled in Chicago politics and will never do the right thing, only the thing he believes will get him his way.

I wish I could say what I really feel about O'Bama.

Albany should have never put all their eggs in one basket. They could have become a better educated town and less dependent on welfare. That way businesses would have been flocking to it like they did in the 1960-70's. Now you come back here when you have exhausted all else. It is cheap to live here, so what do we have. Low pay, low job opportunities, you name it.

He knows Bob Woodward caught him in a bald faced lie. He knows the nutty rightwing can't be bluffed with military cuts. He knows the middle of the road GOP will and did accept higher taxes. He knows he dropped the batan when he failed to implement the depth of changes when he had a super legislative majority. He knows he layed a bomb with the onerous healthcare program that can never be implemented as is. He knows he better come up with a better way of leading this nation or history is going to see him for exactly what he is, a piss poor community organizer!
