ALBANY, Ga. -- Nominations are open for the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission's annual industry awards, part of Albany-Dougherty Industry Celebration Week.
Industry week, now in its third year, is a week-long celebration of the community's existing industries.

The awards will be presented at 7:30 a.m. on April 10 during the Industry Rise n' Shine breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn Albany.
"Existing industries are critical to local economies, and in Albany-Dougherty County we're fortunate to have an industrial diversity that represents health care, defense, logistics, manufacturing and professional services, among others" said Ted Clem, president of the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission.
