ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to an aggravated assault on Sunday afternoon, available reports show.
The incident reportedly took place at 525 Don Cutler Sr. Drive at 2:41 p.m. Officers responded to the APD Law Enforcement Center on West Oglethorpe Boulevard to make contact with the victim.
When the officers arrived, the victim stated that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her at her home. She stated that he retrieved a knife from downstairs, jabbed her in the shoulder and then threatened to kill her, police said.
The victim sustained a small scratch on the left side of her shoulder from the tip of the knife, police said. There was no information available Monday on the suspect.

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 17 calls from Friday evening through the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included a vehicle accident, EMS assistance, a Dumpster fire, a shed fire, a flooded toilet and occupants stuck in an elevator.
