ALBANY, Ga. — Soprano Erlencia Mumphery, a 2006 graduate of Dougherty Comprehensive High, will be performing a benefit concert for Stand Up Again Global Missions at 5 p.m. Sunday.
"Lift Every Voice with A Cause - A Night of Music, Dance and Drama" will conducted at the Albany Civil Rights institute on Whitney Avenue. Mark Butler, who is the director of Choral Studies and Activities and Concert Choir at Florida A&M University, will accompany her.
Mumphery is a music therapy intern at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She will complete the Bachelors of Music Therapy program in Spring 2013 at Georgia College and State University.
