Neville's band gives early Wanee-goers bonus music

LAKE CITY, Fla. — Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk will be the featured performers on the Mushroom Stage at the Wanee Festival's expanded Wednesday Happy Hour, festival organizers announced this week.

The annual Wanee Festival, held at the Spirit of the Suwanee Park near here and scheduled this year for April 18-20, holds "happy hour" performances on the day before the festival officially starts to entertain campers and festivalgoers who arrive early. Joining Neville's Dumpstaphunk this year on April 17 will be Cope, Kettle of Fish, Beebs & Her Moneymakers and Juke & the Groves.

Happy hour performances kick of at 2 p.m.

The lineup for this year's Wanee Festival includes hosts The Allman Brothers Band, Leon Russell, Widespread Panic, Govt Mule, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Maceo Parker and the Tedeschi Trucks Band.
