An evening of One Act Plays with ASU

ALBANY — The Albany State University Theater will offer a series of One Act Plays at the ACAD Auditorium beginning at 7:30 p.m. today.

Today’s offerings include “The Diary of Adam and Eve” directed by Chris McChee, “Lion Tamer” directed by Ishmael Martin, “Times Files” directed by Ebony Smith and “The Wedding Story” directed by India Martin. All four plays will explore the humorous and complex ways of romantic relations.

The second evening Thursday begins at 7:30 and includes “The Chocolate Affair” directed by Alisha Ouedraogo, “From the Mouths of Babes” directed by Demitri Nader, and “Soap Opera” directed by Daniel Butler. These three plays will examine issues such as a food addiction and a love affair with a household appliance.

An Evening of One Act Plays contains adult language and subject matter that is not suitable for younger audience members. Admission is free.
