Pet partner teams bring smiles to faces
Perhaps you’ve seen them in hospital halls or while visiting a friend in a nursing home: human and animal teams bringing smiles and comfort to those who need it most. They are Pet Partner teams (www.petpartners.org), and here in Albany you are fortunate to have a special group of these dedicated souls in the Paws Patrol chapter (www.pawspatrol.com), headed by Marty Harris.
I first became aware of Paws Patrol in 2010 when I took a two-day workshop for Pet Partner Team Training and later a Team Evaluation, both taught by Marty with the support of her amazing team members. From there, I began my own journey as a Pet Partner Team with Gracie by my side.
It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with Pet Partners, and most specifically with Mary Harris and the amazing chapter volunteers of Paws Patrol. They are a dedicated and inspiring group — and an awesome addition to Albany! Thank you, Paws Patrol, for your time, your efforts and your support.

Marty does an excellent job and so does everyone who is involved with Pet Partners. I am so proud of them. They spread lots of love and cheer.
