ALBANY, Ga. — Friday is the deadline to nominate local businesses for the annual Industry Awards presented by the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission.
Recognition of the winners is scheduled at 7:30 a.m. on April 10 during the Industry Rise n Shine Breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany. The local celebration is conducted as part of Albany-Dougherty Industry Celebration Week.
Industry week, now in its third year, is a weeklong celebration of the community’s existing industries. The EDC recognizes industries in four categories: global commerce, economic impact, excellence in innovation and corporate community citizenship (Good Life City Award).
