Former President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday School this Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains.
EVENTS
New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Baconton will celebrate its annual Men’s Day on Sunday. Guest speaker will be Deacon James Dean of Alma, president of the Layman’s Department, General Missionary Baptist Association of Georgia Inc. Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m. with worship beginning at 10:45 a.m.
Cornerstone Baptist Church will host a community-wide Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on March 30. In addition to the egg hunt, the church will offer hot dogs, games and other activities. The church is located at 4007 Moultrie Road. For additional information, call (229) 347-8807.
Faith Baptist Church in Fitzgerald will host its First Saturday night gospel sing at 6 p.m. on April 6 featuring Living Water of Sylvester. For more information, call (229) 423-3997.
