"I’d be willing to bet that those women yapping about men removing their hat inside are the same ones that spend most of their waking hours with a cell phone stuck in their ear."

Obviously this squawker is not of the "baby boom" generation, but the millineal bunch. Don't make such a squawk about taking off your cap or hat inside a building; it's just good ole Southern tradition and always made Mamma happy. Everyone should know that when "Mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" If you want to stop the remarks and glaraing stares, just take the stupid thing off your head. IT'S NO BIG DEAL!

Wow! What a chauvinistic squawk. How does one even relate to the other? Just last night my husband and I both were giving the evil eye to three men wearing ball caps inside Ruby Tuesday's, while my phone was somewhere... in the car,, maybe, or maybe at home on the desk, quite possibly with a dead battery.

Men talk as much on their phones as women. But men have no respect for women anymore, so expect remarks like this. They are wearing their hats to cover their baldness. It is all vanity, nothing more.

It is poor "raising." My grand mama said, "If you were 'raised right,' you would take your hat off when you come inside." Raised right!

Cause and Effect. What you are seeing is Effect. Cause is: the Right to wear hats, dress like a fool, act like an idiot, speak unintelligible English. Nancy Pelosi said unemployment gives you the opportunity to do whatever you want.

It's just that the new modern lighting causes such a glare off the bare spot among the few hairs present that makes hats mandatory for some, and discretionary for others.

lulu I think i saw you in Ruby Tuesdays....did you have a hoop skirt on or are you just overweight?
LuLu 2 months, 4 weeks ago
Jeans, black sweater, and far from being overweight. And not in Albany.

I guess some men figure if guys can get by wearing their pants down to their waist in a restauant, they should get by with wearing a hat in a restaurant. I do neither, but in this day and age more and more people don't go by the dress codes of yesteryear. There was a time when men & women both wore hats. People were polite saying yes sir and yes ma'am. Women wore dresses, men wore suits and ties. Times have changed, Nowadays more people dress sloppy and have rude ill mannered attitudes.

The manners taught and shown even 20 or so years ago were much better than those of today. Today, people show no respect for themselves or others. My parents and grandparents would be appalled if they could see Albany today.

Every generation pushes the boundaries to rebel against their parents. I suppose your great great grandparents would be appalled at what you do and wear.
georgiagranny 2 months, 4 weeks ago
Some of the more current generations have pushed through and broken the boundaries.
