"If you have to drive towards northwest Albany in the late afternoon, you need to avoid Dawson Road where the traffic is awful and the city people say they have no corrective plans on their table."

There are other ways to travel. I try my best to avoid these areas. A little common sense goes a long way.

Try east Oglethorpe at Radium Springs Road...yup its called rush hour---deal with it.

I guess we should be thankful that this city isn't booming with more business. Then traffic would be something that needed to be "worked on".

Hey, something I can agree on. Yes sir, once we kick MCLB, Miller & P&G out of Albany the traffic should lighten uo considerably. Just stay clear of the unemployment office area though.

People from Lee County need to find alternate ways of getting to and from the Golden Corral. Some could come out to Hwy 82 via N. Doublegate, Hickory Grove Rd, and Cookville Rd. That would take some pressure off of Old Dawson.

Hay, I resemble that remark. However, I never drive Old Dawson Road if it is avoidable. Now the prime rib and shrimp were definately worth it this weekend. Plus I like how they Honor Veterans.
