Police/Fire/EMS - March 27, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 incidents on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

-- Loitering at the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road;

-- Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 800 block of Cotton Avenue, the 100 block of Dobbs Drive and the 1200 block of Teche Avenue;

-- Simple battery (domestic) on the 800 block of Odom Avenue;

-- Criminal trespass on the 2700 block of Doncaster Drive, the 800 block of Mercedes Street and the 900 block of North Van Buren Street;

-- Marijuana possession on the 2100 block of Whispering Pines Road and the 600 block of 16th Avenue;

-- Family violence (unfounded) on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

-- Suspended license on the 2000 block of Keystone Drive;

-- Theft by taking on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1700 block of Gillionville Road, the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1200 block of East Broad Avenue, and the 2700 block of Dawson Road.

-- Criminal damage to property on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Theft by shoplifting on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- First degree burglary on the 400 block Meadowlark Drive;

-- Aggravated stalking on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

DOUGHERTY POLICE -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

-- Lost property on the 1000 block of Flowing Well Road and the 1000 block of Oakhaven Drive;

-- Deceased person on the 1500 block of Sylvester Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available records show. The incidents included dumpster fires, overheated motor, shorted wires, downed power line and EMS assist.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 49 calls on Monday, available records show. There were 37 medical calls, 11 trauma calls and one assist for the Albany Fire Department.

The medical calls included: seven chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, four altered mental status calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, one fainting, one diabetic issue call, one mental health call, one cardiac arrest call and 10 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included seven auto accident calls, two falls and two trauma calls.
