ALBANY, Ga. -- Communion services are planned at 7 p.m. today at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church by the Albany Baptist Ministers Conference.

The Rev. Gary Sanders will deliver tonight's message. Sanders is pastor of First Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Mt. Zion is located at 901 Westover Blvd.

Also, the group plans Good Friday services at 11:45 a.m. Friday at the same location. The message will be delivered by the Rev. Travis A. Morris, pastor of Cray Chapel CME Church of Albany.

"During this time Christians are called to remember who they are as people of faith, and that even the greatest of evils will not have the last word," said Sanders.

The Rev. James C. Bush said ministers attending the programs are requested to wear black robes. Deacons are requested to wear black suits, and ministers' wives and deaconesses are asked to wear white dresses, Bush said.

The Albany Baptist Ministers Conference meets each Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cutliff Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 512 Corn Ave.
