Police/Fire/EMS - March 28, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 21 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

-- Lost or misplaced property on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

-- Theft by taking on the 700 block of West Broad Avenue and the 400 block of Emily Avenue;

-- Suspended license on the 200 block of South Washington Street, the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 500 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Simple battery on the 2400 block of Cardinal Street;

-- First degree burglary on the 700 block of West 3rd Avenue;

-- Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 300 block of Moultrie Road;

-- Aggravated assault on the 200 block of West Road;

-- Assault on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 3600 block of Mayfair lane;

-- Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

-- Reckless conduct on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

-- Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Marie Road and the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;

-- Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;

-- Fraud on the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Court;

DOUGHERTY POLICE -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least six calls on Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

-- Death investigation on the 3400 block of Sweetbriar Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 14 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available records show. The incidents included shorted breaker, downed cables, assist to WG&L, controlled burn, trash can fires, structure fire and arcs, forced entry for EMS and APD, cardiac arrest and overheated motor.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 53 calls on Tuesday, available records show. There were 44 medical calls, 9 trauma calls.

The medical calls included: 7 respiratory issue calls, 3 faint calls, 3 mental health calls, 3 miscellaneous pain calls, 2 chest pain calls, 1 cardiac arrest call, 1 seizure call, 1 diabetic issue call, 1 altered mental status call and 20 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included 6 falls, 2 assault calls and 1 auto accident victim.
