Ross Harrison, of the Flint River Habitat for Humanity board, and Caroline Pile, business director for Flint River Habitat for Humanity, accept a check Thursday from Dr. Steven Kitchen, medical staff president at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The $2,500 donation was made in the name of the hospital’s physicians in honor of National Doctor’s Day.

Every year since 2008, the doctors choose several charities to support. The other charity that received $2,500 was Albany’s Strive2Thrive.
