ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 29 incidents on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Possession of marijuana on the 400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Rape on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Loitering on the 1100 block of Newton Road;
— Theft by taking on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 200 block of Pine Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1000 block of Coastline Avenue, the 1600 block of Jean Avenue and the 400 block of Lipsey Drive;
— Simple battery on the 1400 block of Westcliff Court and the 700 block of South Harding Street;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 1000 block of Relswood Terrace, the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 600 block of North Jefferson Street;
— First degree burglary on the 100 block of South Carroll Street;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2400 block of Sylvester Road and the 900 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Terrorist acts and threats on the 500 block of Swift Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1900 block of East Oglethorpe Avenue and the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Wanted person on the 2100 block of South Jackson Street, the 200 block of Thornton Drive and the 1100 block of Eager Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of South Shadowlawn Drive;
— Leaving scene of injury/death/damages on the the 1200 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Arson on the 2200 block of Habersham Road and the 200 block of Pine Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 1000 block of Holland Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Animal call on the 2900 block of Thrasher Avenue;
— Lost tag on the 1200 block of Gaissert Road;
— Entering auto on the 100 block of Rosewood Drive;
— Traffic arrest on the 700 block of Gaines Avenue and the 2600 block of Council Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1000 block of James Cross Road;
— Suspicious person on the 3600 block of Council Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available records show. The incidents included trailer fire, woods fire, gas leak, shorted stove element, trash fire, grass fire, dryer fire and assist to EMS.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 89 calls on Wednesday, available records show. There were 41 medical calls, 41 trauma calls and 2 assists to the Albany Fire Department.
The medical calls included: 5 diabetic issue calls, 4 miscellaneous pain calls, 3 respiratory issue calls, 3 chest pain calls, 2 faint calls, 2 mental health calls, 1 OB/labor calls and 21 various medical calls.
The trauma calls included 36 auto accident victims and 9 falls.
