ALBANY, Ga. — The trailer of one of the area’s most popular local bands, which was filled with the band’s equipment, has been stolen.

The trailer, which was parked on Byron Plantation Road was taken early Friday morning. It belonged to Hwy 55, a local band popular in the region.

Dougherty County Police Detective Chad Kirkpatrick says that the department is still putting the intial incident report of the theft together, but that it was stolen around 4 a.m.

“It’s a white, enclosed trailer that had some musical and band equipment inside,” Kirkpatrick says. “It also has Highway 55 written on it.”

Kirkpatrick says if anyone has any information, call Crime Stoppers at 436-TIPS or the DCPD at (229) 430-6600.

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 45 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Entering auto on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1100 block of Mary Avenue, the 1900 block of Barnsdale Way, the 1500 block of Ken Gardens Drive, the 200 block of Glade Lane, the 2400 block of Dawson Road, the 3900 block of Rodnor Forest Lane (two), the 500 block of Longbow Drive and the 200 block of Lockett Station Road;

— Simple battery on the 900 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 800 block of 7th Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of West Mercer Avenue;

— Receiving property on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 600 block of West 3rd Avenue and the 200 block of Lockett Station Road;

— Interfering with an officer on the 1400 block of South Madison Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 1200 block of South Cleveland Avenue, the 700 block of North Van Buren Street, the 300 block of Carriage Lane and the 400 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Sexual offense (juvenile) on the 1700 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Possession of contraband substance on the 300 block of Cordele Road;

— Aggravated assault on the 1300 block of Willie Pitts Road and the 600 block of South Davis Street;

— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of Malone Drive, the 2500 block of Dawson Road, the 1400 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 1600 block of North Jackson Street;

— Missing person (juvenile) on the 300 block of Enterprise Drive;

— Unruly juvenile of the 500 block of American Lane;

— Harassing phone calls on the the 900 block of Corn Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Kidnapping on the 900 block of Corn Avenue;

— Reckless conduct on the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 700 block of West 2nd Avenue and the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 1000 block of East 4th Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1200 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud, aggravated assault and robbery on the 100 block of Nona Drive;

— 1st degree burglary on the 700 block of 9th Avenue;

— Burglary on the 2500 block of Whispering Pines Road.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Burglary on the 200 block of Byron Plantation Road;

— Theft on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Auto accident with injuries on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 8 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available records show. The incidents included activated fire alarm, structure fire, water leak and assist to EMS.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 68 calls on Wednesday, available records show. There were 51 medical calls, 16 trauma calls and one assist to the disaster drill school event.

The medical calls included eight respiratory issue calls, four chest pain calls, four altered mental status calls, two seizure calls, two mental health calls, one miscellaneous pain call and 28 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included: 11 auto accident victims, three falls, and two lacerations.
