Worth Sheriff's office looking into alleged molestation

SYLVESTER, Ga. -- The Worth County Sheriff's office is investigating child molestation allegations involving two boys Monday on a Worth County school bus.

According to an incident report filed by Sheriff's Office investigator Timothy Farmer, the department was contacted by the mother of a 5-year-old boy who complained that her son told her a 9-year-old boy sat next to him on the bus, pulled down the younger boy's pants and touched his genitalia.

The younger boy said the older boy tried to engage in other sexial activity but didn't. According to the report, the older boy then told the younger boy "not to tell anyone about this."

Farmer contacted the bus driver, who provided the name and address of the older boy, who lives with his grandparents.

The investigator visited the grandparents' home and interviewed the boy in their presence. The report said the boy admitted sitting next to the younger boy on the bus, but denied pulling down his pants or touching him.

According to the grandmother, the 9-year-old has had similar accusations against him in the past.

Farmer wrote that the case remains under investigation.

Seems strange that the grandmother would state that the grandson had prior complaints against him, yet the boy is innocent, right. Not!!!
