Police are searching for this unidentified male who broke into Maryland Fried Chicken on Slappey Boulevard early Wednesday and stole cash and other items.

ALBANY, Ga. -- Police are on the lookout for a man who threw a brick through the drive-in window of Maryland Fried Chicken at 510 N. Slappey Blvd. Wednesday morning and made off with cash and other items.

According to restaurant manager Rick Astran, damage to the window was evident when he arrived for work shortly before 8 a.m. The burglar apparently climbed through the broken window, kicked open the office door and made off with an undetermined amount of cash, money trays and bank bags.

Astran said the restaurant is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the early morning burglar. A surveillance video shows the suspect to be a black male wearing a blue hoodie sweat jacket with "USA" on the front, a mask, grayish-colored jeans and black sneakers.

According to Astran and the APD, anyone with information on the identity of the burglar should call Crimestoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477) or the Albany Police Department. Those offering information will remain anonymous, police officials say.

I see Albany Finest are at it again too bad President Obama can be blamed for agnorance. I think you're mad because you had to put your shirts up that said "Bushs--t USA". You can still wear it like I plan on wearing my President Obama after his 8 years. Now I hope you think this sound stupid and get the point.

I don't know, but I think you sound stupid.

It should be Albany's finest not Albany Finest. It's ignorance not agnorance.

Oh and one more thing, are you a DCSS graduate? Judging by your intelligent post, I'm guessing yes.

The hooded sweatshirt along with a Carhart jacket is the main spring wardrobe of northern tier state rednecks. Maybe we should get them together with an equal number of local hoodies and see what happens.

Maybe these businesses need to look at installing unbreakable glass for their windows and doors, either that or put up tacky burglar bars.
