POLICE: Motorcyclist injured in crash Wednesday dead

ALBANY, Ga. — A man who was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon has died, officials say.

William Frantz, 52, died this morning at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany Police Department Spokesperson Phyllis Banks says.

Frantz was injured after being involved in a crash near the intersection of Sylvester Road and Cordele Road Wednesday afternoon. Banks says charges are pending against 57-year-old Judy Hatcher, who Banks said turned left onto Cordele Road in front of Frantz.

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.

This is really sad, as a motorcycle rider myself I am always on the alert? But than you get drivers like this? Just not paying attention! If you kill a motorcycle rider! You should go straight to prison! End of Story! Calif has that law.
