Armed robbery at Save-Rite Petro

ALBANY, Ga. — The Save-Rite Petro Station at 427 South Westover Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint Friday, police officials say.

The unidentified 32-year-old cashier stated that two black males, each of them with handguns, ran into the station at around 9:30 p.m., jumped on the counter and demanded money. The suspects were dressed all in black, including gloves, the cashier said.

According to Phyllis Banks, APD spokeswoman, there were no injuries in the incident and no arrests have yet been made.

Police are asking that anyone with information contact the APD or CRIME STOPPERS at (229) 436-TIPS.

Two more with no fear of our judicial system. If it were a deterent, then these things wouldn't happen for such small a return.

It ought to be a requirement for convenience stores to install small mortars in the doorways. "Cleanup on aisle 1,2,& 3". Their own mama wouldn't be able to identify them.
