Police seek burglary suspect

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department's Criminal Investigations Bureau is seeking help from the community in locating Cedrick Butler, 18.

Police say Butler is wanted in connection with a burglary occurring on the 1800 block of West Broad Avenue on April 10. During that residential burglary, a laptop computer and four television sets were taken, police officials say.

Butler, who police say has a warrant issued against him for burglary in the 1st degree, is last known to reside at 815 McIntosh Road in Albany. He is 5 feet 10 and weighs approximately 155 pounds.

Police officials say anonymous information may be reported through Crimestoppers at (229) 436-TIPS.

I'm sure once he is caught he will only get probation only to commit the same crime over again. Maybe our 2nd Amendment right will still be in place when he breaks into the next residence and we won't have to be concerned with him again.
