We know Uncle Carlton didn't write this squawk!
So, squawker, because of the facts you quote, you must think it's OK for the student to have her private parts groped every day when she went to her locker. That's pretty stupid logic to me.
Some of you will defend your own no matter what they do.
Perfectly rational people can be pushed to exasperation.
Never underestimate a parent/grandparent when they are defending their young.
How far, Squawker, have you walked in any of their shoes?
Maybe this person thinks groping private parts is like dogs sniffing butts. Just another way of saying Howdy.
Based on the birth stats in SOWEGA, I think you have a valid point, RedEric.
RedEric, you grope my private parts as a way to say "howdy", do not be surprised when yuo are punched in the face. You want to say "howdy" to someone, speak to them you do not have to touch them to say howdy. Unless given permission it is NOT okay to ever touch a person's private parts. In short, keep your hands to yourself.
That is exactly my point. This person doesn't seem to think it is a big deal. Secondly, people who think along those lines are like dogs, animals. OK now or do you need further clarification?
Gee daisymae, don't get upset with RedEric, it's not like he said he would do that, just making a point about what these students think.
Her story was inconsistent and she wasn't willing to name names. If it really happened, why didn't her parents demand to see the tape from the security cameras? Maybe they were too shy to ask.
Or...maybe the "facts" about the groping were exaggerated like the rest of this fairy tale.
or, maybe she was afraid of retaliation. why do you think sexual abuse goes on unchecked in prison?
Jacob, If you look at current events, sexual abuse goes under reported everywhere. It's about power. The victims feel like they have none so why bother. It is often at the hands of someone they trusted or have authority over them. It often comes down to he said / she said.
Was her dad afraid of retaliation?
Maybe he was afraid of retaliation against his daughter. I just wonder how you would feel if this happened to your daughter, and she was afraid to give the names in fear of retaliation. Would you just tell her she is crazy and made up the story? If you got raped in the restroom by other male students, would you face embarrassment in telling everybody you were raped by guys? There are men that are sexually abused by their S/O but are too embarrassed and ashamed to report it.
I don't understand why you think she is lying just because she would not give names. How many crimes have been committed in Albany and people refused to talk because they were afraid of retaliation?
Just a few months ago these thugs beat up a witness in an attempt to intimidate him into not testifying or telling what he knows. It happens!
Why don't folks in the hood report gang activity? Fear of retaliaion, right you willfully ignorant fool?
He said, she said, is difficult to contridict under the ever watchfull eye of the video. Now fear of retaliation is always there. Especially in schools with clicks, let alone gangs. It is time control of the Schools, and the Prisons is taken back by the authorities. If this requires corporal punishment, then so be it. I am tired of hearing we can't do anything with long timers because they have nothing to lose and there isn't anything we can do to them. Whell there needs to be something, even if it involves a set count of offense for Capital punishment. In Schools, the students need to respect all the Teachers, or be forced to see the light.
Walt, I agree with what you are saying but it has been my experience that if we wait until the kids are in school to teach respect and displine then it is already too late. Most kids value systems are already set in place by the time the get to first grade from what they have learned at home. By that time, you can beat a kid all you want and all you will accomplish is to further alienate an already problematic child.
My kids never went to the bathroom in school, especially high school. The felt like they were trapped for those few moments in time even though they didn't have problems with other people. If you think about it, there are no cameras and no monitors so what goes in in there is up to the students. If you walk in on a drug buy or someone getting high or "retaliation" then you set your self up for trouble when it is not your fault.
Groping in the school system is ongoing and happens all the time. The young ladies allow it too. It is up to the person it is happening to to put a stop to it. There are means to it, but I know it happened to me when I was in fifth grade and I was too ashamed to admit it. I thought it was my fault. Later it was done to another girl and she told the teacher. Still nothing was done to the boy. Just got a talking too and he knew what he was doing was wrong.
Her fault or schools fault, even if she was to pull her pants down and moon everybody, that doesn't give anybody the right to smack her on her butt.
MY DAUGHTER WAS TAUGHT THAT IF ANYONE TOUCHES HER INAPPROPRIATLY TO TRY AND KICK THEIR EQUIPMENT INTO THEIR NECK.
People don't have any business putting their hands on other people period. No matter what part of the body it may be. Plan to suffer the consequences if you do.
