Police/Fire/EMS report for May 25, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 35 incidents on Thursday into the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Battery on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1200 block of Kingston Court;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of Gaines Avenue, the 600 block of Johnny Williams Road, the 700 block of West Highland Avenue, the 1900 block of Regalwood Road, the 1600 block of Stuart Avenue, the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 600 block of North Monroe Street, the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1000 block of Lee Street;

— Missing persons on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 2900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Recovered property on the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue, the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road and the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Obstructing law enforcement on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 1700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Public indecency on the 300 block of Slater King Drive, the 300 block of Johnson Road and the 500 block of South Van Buren Street;

— Entering autos on the 1400 block of Cromartie Beach Road, the 1800 block of Seay Court and the 1900 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Burglary on the 1100 block of Waddell Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 300 block of Shadowlawn Drive;

— Domestic disputes (unfounded) on the 700 block of Wheeler Avenue and the 2000 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Suspended license at the intersection of Cordele Road and Clark Avenue;

— Assault on the 1600 block of Whiting Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Drug investigation on Sylvester Road;

— Traffic arrest on the 1000 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Family violence on the 2200 block of War Eagle Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday into the early hours of Friday, available records show. Incidents included a stove fire, a grass fire, medical incidents, a cardiac arrest, suspicious odor and an overheated vehicle muffler.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 66 calls on Thursday, including 57 medical calls and nine trauma calls. Medical calls included six chest pain calls, five respiratory issues, three diabetic issue calls, two people fainted, two miscellaneous pain calls, an altered mental status call, a mental health call and 32 various medical calls. Trauma calls included six auto accident victims, a fall and an assault.
