ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 incidents on Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 500 block of 11th Avenue, the 700 block of Moultrie Road and the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Aggravated assault on the 700 block of North Harding Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of West Second Avenue, the 800 block of North Jackson Street, the 2000 block of Hubert Avenue and the 1900 block of Buck Lane;
— Entering autos on the 1400 block of Cromartie Beach Drive, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 1000 block of Coastline Avenue and the 2600 block of Rosebrier Avenue;
— Burglary on the 300 block of Vick Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue, the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue and the 2700 block of Oakridge Drive;
— Missing persons on the 600 block of West 11th Avenue and the 1900 block of Meadows Drive;
— Wanted persons on the 500 block of North Jackson Street and the 1900 block of Meadows Drive;
— Recovered property on the 1400 block of Waddell Avenue;
— Reckless conduct on the 600 block of West Second Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least six calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Traffic arrests on the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the intersection of State Highway 3 and McKenzie Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Wednesday, available records show. Incidents included a power pole in the road, activated alarms, a vehicle accident and trash and dryer fires.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 55 calls on Wednesday, including 42 medical calls, 12 trauma calls and an assist during a federal courthouse training exercise. Medical calls included seven chest pain calls, seven miscellaneous pain calls, five respiratory issues, two seizure calls, an altered mental status call, a diabetic issue and 20 various medical calls. Trauma calls included nine auto accident victims, a fall, a laceration and an assault.
