Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 15 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Public indecency on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 3000 block of Graystone Lane, the 2500 block of South Jackson Street and the 900 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Burglary on the 500 block of Cherry Avenue, the 600 block of Pinson Road and the 1600 block of Sunny Lane;

— Wanted person on the 1300 block of North Monroe Street;

— Battery on the 500 block of 7th Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 1000 block of West Broad Avenue and the 400 block of Bonnyview Drive;

— Entering auto on the 600 block of West Society Avenue, the 300 block of North Davis Street and the 2400 block of Clark Avenue;

— Robbery by intimidation on the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Family violence on the 3400 block of Station Drive;

— Traffic accident on the 700 block of Philema Road;

— Missing juvenile on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Tuesday, available records show. Calls included dumpster fire, alarm system activations, animal rescue, EMS assist, unauthorized burning, public service, gas leak, motor home fire and water leak.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 50 calls on Tuesday, available records show. There were 50 medical calls, 16 trauma calls and 14 trauma calls

The medical calls included five miscellaneous pain calls, five faint calls, four respiratory issue calls, two seizure calls, one diabetic issue call, one mental health call, one cardiac arrest call and 28 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included seven auto accident victims, four assaults, two falls and one laceration.
