BOB LYNCH: Anchorfest was a special evening for The Anchorage

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Current and former residents of the The Anchorage give powerful testimonies on addiction

Oct. 26th was a special evening for The Anchorage. The annual Anchorfest was held at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Albany. It was an evening of Christian music from local churches and testimonies from residents and former residents of The Anchorage. The men gave powerful testimonies to the power of God to set them free from addictions. The evening provided an opportunity to honor God and give thanks to our supporters for their wonderful support for The Anchorage.

Thank you to The Albany Herald. Your front page article on Oct. 21 helped us publicize the Anchorfest and helped to make it a big success.

This year was the largest and most successful Anchorfest to date. The board of directors and staff of The Anchorage wish to express our appreciation to our friends in Albany and Lee County for their generous support for the ministry of The Anchorage. Your gifts enable us to extend the love of Jesus Christ to men with addictions.

God Bless You!
