ALBANY - Mr. Albert (Bo) Godfree, 70 of Story Ln. in Leesburg died November 13, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services will be Saturday 11 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Dr. William E. (Butch) Knight officiating.
A native of Dadeville, AL Mr. Godfree has lived in Lee County since 1980. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Albany and was retired from the Frito Lay Co. with 15 years of service. Mr. Godfree served in the National Guard and the Army Reserve during Vietnam. He loved wood working and making wood crafts, and was a huge University of Alabama Fan.
Mr. Godfree was preceded in death by his father, Albert Lewis Godfree, Sr. and his beloved dog “Sugar” who died 2 years ago.
Survivors include his Wife, Patricia M. Godfree of Leesburg, son, Clay Godfree and his wife Erin of McDonough, GA, grandchildren, Gage and Grace Godfree, mother, Mary G. Godfree of Leesburg, brother, Robert L. Godfree and his wife Quette of Monroe, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
