ALBANY - Clara Turner, 92, of Albany, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at her home.
Her funeral service will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the graveside at Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Reagan Marsh and the Rev. Fred Bell will officiate.
Mrs. Turner was born in Geneva County, AL, and had lived in Albany since 1952. She was a member of Harvest Temple Church of God. Mrs. Turner, along with her husband, Harry W. Turner, owned and operated Harry’s Alignment. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents Andrew Jackson Brown and Ethel S. Brown.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughter: Cheryl Bryan and her husband Harold, Albany; her son: Ron Turner and his wife Kelly, Dawson; 3 grandchildren: Jason Bryan, Albany, Erin Allen and husband Michael, Perry, GA, Katie Turner, Kennesaw, GA; 2 great grandchildren: Bryson Allen and Jackson Allen, both of Perry, GA; a close friend and caregiver: Jeannie Peacock, Lee County.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Monday, November 18, 2013 (Today) from 6-8 PM.
