LEESBURG — Gene Goldsmith and Dotty Davis won the Man of the Year and Women of the Year honors, respectively, at the annual meeting of the Lee County Chamber of Commerce.
Goldsmith and Davis were among the honorees at the Chamber’s 25th annual dinner and awards ceremony held at Oakland Library.
“We celebrated 25 years of service to our community and honored some deserving individuals who deserve recognition for giving back to their community,” said Lisa Davis, marketing and membership director for the Chamber.
State Rep. Ed Rynders was presented a Bridge Builder Award from the Chamber. The Chamber’s Lifetime Achievement Award went to George Pressley Sr.
Other top honors included Richard Grebel, Partner in Agriculture; Sean Hunter, Ambassador of the Year; Java the Hut, Business of the Year; Fifth Friday Foundation, Non-Profit of the Year, and Lee County High School NJROTC, Partner in Education.
Entertainment was provided by pianist Egbert Bacon. Chamber officials also presented the 2013 annual report to members.
