Police/Fire/EMS reports - Oct. 3, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 34 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Interfering with a city officer on the 800 block of West Highland Avenue, the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 100 block of East Road;

—Open container on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Recovered property on the 500 block of Eugemar Drive, the 100 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Edgerly Avenue, the 1100 block of Benjamin Avenue, the 200 block of South Davis Street and the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary on the 2800 block of Palmyra Road, the 400 block of Rosser lane, the 800 block of 7th Avenue, the 100 block of Flint Avenue, the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 100 block of Pine Avenue, the 1500 block of Westwood Drive and the 100 block of Moultrie Road;

— Driving with suspended license on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Mock Road, the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 1000 block of Willie Pitts Jr. Road, the 2200 block of Lionel Lane and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Assault on the 2200 block of South Jackson Street and the 500 block of Ebony Lane;

— Vandalism on the 1300 block of South Van Buren Street;

— Inhumane treatment of an animal on the 1300 block of Mulberry Avenue and the 1300 block of Tift Avenue;

— Animal running at large on the 1200 block of Monroe Street;

— Harassing phone calls on the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 200 block of Barton Avenue, the 200 block of Kirland Street and the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Entering auto on the West Broad Avenue;

— Theft by conversion on the 300 block of Elsom Street;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2700 block of Somerset Drive;

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Family violence on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;

— Lost property on the 4700 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Burglary on the 4500 block of Leary Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Tuesday. The incidents included public service, alarm activations, arching electrical equipment, motor vehicle accident and smoke odor removal.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 86 calls on Tuesday, available records show. There were 54 medical calls and 32 trauma calls.

The medical calls included eight respiratory issue calls, six chest pain calls, three altered mental status calls, three seizure calls, three diabetic issue calls, two miscellaneous pain calls and 30 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included 25 auto accident victims , four falls and one assault. _
