Police/fire/EMS reports - Oct. 16, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 incidents on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 300 block of Mulberry Avenue, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 2800 block of Meredyth Drive and the 700 block of West Society Avenue;

— Drug trafficking on the 1700 block of Beattie Road;

— Burglary on the 200 block of West Broad Avenue, the 900 block of Crawford Street, the 1500 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 400 block of Poplar Street and the 400 block of Alice Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of South Davis Street and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Forgery on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Assault on the 1100 block of Eager Drive;

— Aggravated assault on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Wanted person on the 300 block of 7th Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 2300 block of Habersham Road;

— Battery on the 2600 block of South Jackson Street;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue and the 1900 block of South Skyline Drive;

— Statutory rape on the 700 block of Partridge Drive;

— Driving without a license on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Wanted person/drug investigation on the 300 block of Ramsey Road;

— Lost property on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Monday, available records show. The incidents included alarm system activations, public service. extrication of victims from accident, motor vehicle and building fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 72 calls on Monday, available records show. There were 53 medical calls and 19 trauma calls.

The medical calls included 15 chest pain calls, five faint calls, three mental health calls, two seizure calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, one altered mental status call, one diabetic issue call and 23 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included 10 auto accident victims, four falls, two lacerations and one assault.
