ALBANY — An accident on the campus of Albany Middle School on Tallulah Drive sent three people in for medical treatment Monday, according to officials of the Georgia State Patrol.
According to Trooper First Class Jack Stripling, the accident occurred around 4 p.m. when 21-year-old Isaiah Jackson ran a stop sign and crashed his gray Buick LaCrosse into the school bus. Stripling said the bus was empty except for the driver, Talaueia Stubbs.
Stubbs was transported to a Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment, Stripling said, along with Jackson and 15-year-old Deneshai Bryant, passenger in the LaCrosse. Stripling said it was his understanding that none of the injuries were life threatening.
According to Stripling, Jackson was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign and driving without a license.
