DAWSON — D’Vine, three women who got their start in church choirs and advanced to performing before presidents and with renowned symphony orchestras, will return to Dawson Saturday evening to perform at Main Street Theatre.
The concert in downtown Dawson will begin at 7 p.m. Those attending the performance also can purchase a ticket which includes dinner at the theatre site beginning at 6 p.m.
“The trio made its first appearance in Dawson in 2009 as they won our hearts with their amazing inspirational and patriotic music,” said Rhonda Gordon, director of Main Street Theatre.
“The trio can sing the three-part harmonies interchangeably, using whichever unique voice is suited to that part for each song in order to vary their sound. The girls are lifelong friends, which is part of what draws audiences to their performances.
They’re so personable and they have amazing talent. Their music will truly touch your heart and make you feel very much a part of the concert. When you leave, you will feel you have known them forever.”
Tickets are $20 each for dinner and the concert. The fee is $10 for children under 12. Dinner will be served buffet style at 6 p.m. and will include fried catfish filets, hushpuppies, French fries, cole slaw and baked cheese grits.
Reservations must be made by Thursday by calling (229) 995-5329. Seating will be assigned for the show.
Tickets to just the concert without the dinner are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children under 12.
If no one answers the phone, Gordon said those calling for reservations should leave a message including their name and phone number.
“Your call will be returned,” she said. “If you prefer to email your reservations, we can be reached at email@example.com.
