ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 11 incidents Monday and into the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 1900 block of Elkhorn Lane and on the 200 block of Collins Street;
— Assault on the 1100 block of St. Andrews Drive and on the 900 block of Rood Street;
— Battery on the 700 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue and on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block Cordele Road;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the first block of Dobbs Drive;
— Assault, vandalism on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Monday, available reports show. The incidents included family violence on the 200 block of Holly Drive and on the 2300 block of Tarva Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 31 incidents from Friday afternoon through early Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included vehicle accidents, EMS assistance, grass fires, a downed power line on Johnny W. Williams Road, structural fires on South Jackson Street and South Madison Street and a Dumpster fire on Gillionville Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 59 calls on Monday, available reports show. There were 47 medical calls and 12 trauma calls.
The medical calls included, but were not limited to, nine respiratory issues, five mental health calls, four OB/labor issues, three chest pains, three seizures, one diabetic issue, one altered mental status, one miscellaneous pain, one cardiac arrest and 18 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, seven auto accident victims, three falls and one laceration.
