ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 13 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;
— Wanted person on the 2400 block of Hemlock Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of Lippitt Drive and on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Terroristic threats, acts on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 2000 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Recovered property on the 1300 block of Evelyn Avenue;
— Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 800 block of Eighth Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 21 calls Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Family violence report on the 500 block of Southgate Avenue at 9:14 p.m. on Saturday. Reports state that a couple was involved in a verbal argument when the boyfriend waved around a gun, threatening his girlfriend and several others. Two rounds were reportedly fired off as the girlfriend attempted to take the gun away from him. The boyfriend was arrested and taken to Dougherty County Jail.
— Accidental damage on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Traffic arrest on the 100 block of Lockett Station Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 21 incidents from Friday morning to Sunday evening, available reports show. The incidents included a grass fire, a trash compactor on fire, a water leak, a building fire on East Residence Avenue, a shed fire and burning trash in a barrel.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 53 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 42 medical calls and 11 trauma calls.
The medical calls included, but were not limited to, four seizures, four miscellaneous pain, three respiratory issues, two chest pains, two diabetic issues, two altered mental statuses, one cardiac arrest, one fainting, one mental health issue and 17 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, four auto accident victims and four assaults.
