Police, Fire and EMS reports - Sept. 21, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 40 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Aggravated assault on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue and the 600 block of Cotton Avenue;

— Burglary on the 1900 block of Keystone Avenue, the 7000 block of Tompkins Avenue, the 400 block of Cedar Avenue, the 300 block of Carriage Lane and the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 1100 block of Van Deman Street, the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road, the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 1900 block of North Monroe Street and the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, the 200 block of Wright Avenue, the 2700 block of Dawson Road, and the 100 block of North Front Street;

— Entering auto on the 2400 block of Dawson Road, the 900 block of West 2nd Avenue, the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 900 block of West 4th Avenue, the 500 block of 8th Avenue, the 300 block of Cordele Road and the 900 block of 5th Avenue;

— Battery on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 400 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Lost or mislaid property on the 300 block of Vick Street and the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Identity theft on the 500 block of Odom Avenue;

— Theft of services on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1500 block of Dawson Road, the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1000 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Forgery on the 300 block of South Jackson Street;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Wanted person on the 1800 block of Gillionville Road;

— Missing person on the 2300 block of Greenleaf Lane;

— Inhumane treatment of an animal on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Fraud on the 800 block of Putney Avenue;

— Crime prevention on the 4500 block of La Costa Drive;

— Narcotics/traffic arrest on the 400 block of Liberty Expressway;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Thursday, available records show. The incidents included alarm activation, station tour, gas leak, smoke scare, food on stove and electrical short;

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 49 calls on Thursday, available records show. There were 39 medical calls and 10 trauma calls.

The medical calls included seven respiratory issue calls, three diabetic issue calls, three seizure calls, two chest pain calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, one altered mental health status calls, one mental health call and one cardiac arrest call.

The trauma calls included four falls, three auto accident victims, one laceration and one assault.
