Police, Fire and EMS Calls - Sept. 28, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 45 calls from the early morning hours of Wednesday to late Thursday. Some of the incidents were:

— First-degree burglary on the 200 block of North West Road, 800 block of Holloway Drive and 1800 block of Sycamore Court;

— Theft by taking on the 800 block of Rood Street, the 1900 block of 12th Avenue and the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;

— Entering auto on the 200 block of Coves Court and the 1900 block of Regalwood Drive;

— Second degree burglary on the 400 block of Haley Street and the 500 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Shoplifting on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 500 blockof 7th Avenue, the 500 block of South McKinley Street and the 400 block of North Haley Street;

— Property damage on the 600 block of Tulsa Lane, the 1100 block of North Madison Street, the 400 block of Drexel Street and the 1600 block of Maryland Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of East Oglethord Boulevard, the 100 block of Blakely Court, the 300 block of North Carrol Street, the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue and the 200 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Probation violation on the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Saggy pants violations on the 2300 block of Dawson Road and the 1400 block of Palmyra Road;

— False imprisonment on the 2300 block of Dawson Road;

— Assault on the 2200 block of South Washington Street;

— Simple battery on the 500 block of west 8th Avenue and the 100 block of Almond Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department received 15 call from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, resulting in five incident reports. Among the incidents were:

— Auto accident at Pine Bluff Road and Clark Avenue;

— Criminal Trespass on Luke Drive;

— Harassing phone calls on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road;

— Child Abuse on the 2200 block of Duitman Road;

— Forgery on the 400 block of Philema Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to eight incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday. Among the incidents were:

— Short circuit on the 200 block of South Carroll Street;

— Medical assist on the 1200 block of Catalina;

— Auto Accident on the 1100 block of North Harding Street.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 36 medical calls. There were 24 medical calls and 12 trauma calls. The medical calls included, but were not limited to, three chest pains, three respiratory issues, one altered mental status, one diabetic issue, one miscellaneous pain and 15 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, were five auto accident victims, three falls and two assaults.
