ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 49 calls on Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 300 block of West Tift Avenue and on the 1600 block of Worrell Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of West Tift Avenue and on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 800 block of Cason Street and on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 200 block of East Oakridge Drive and on the 1600 block of Sunny Lane;
— Assault/battery (domestic violence) on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Recovered property on the 200 block of Georgia Power Road and on the 100 block of Westcott Lane;
— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 2600 block of Habersham Road;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 100 block of Old Johnson Road and on the 1500 block of Silas Lane;
— Aggravated battery on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— DUI less safe (alcohol) on the 1400 block of Mulberry Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue and on the 1200 block of 11th Avenue;
— Assault on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 100 block of Cason Street;
— Wanted person on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Missing person (juvenile) on the 1500 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Open container on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard and on the 2400 block of Palmyra Road;
— Prohibited noise on the 1300 block of North Monroe Street;
— Simple battery on the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue and on the 1600 block of McArthur Street;
— Driving on a suspended license on the 500 block of South Magnolia Street and on the 1900 block of Clark Avenue;
— Bench warrant on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Injured person on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Interference with a city officer on the 400 block of Jefferies Avenue and on the 2300 block of Hubert Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 18 incidents from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, available reports show. The calls including EMS assistance, a building fire on Rosebrier Avenue causing $3,000 in property loss, a trash fire, a grass fire, two animal rescues and a swift water rescue at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on the Flint River.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 55 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 46 medical calls and nine trauma calls.
The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, five chest pain calls, five cardiac arrest calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, three respiratory issue calls, three altered mental status, three mental health calls, two seizure calls, one fainting call, one diabetic issue and 15 various medical calls. The trauma calls included five falls and four assaults.
