ALBANY — Police in Albany were looking Wednesday for Travis West, 35, who they say caused extensive and intentional damage to three vehicles on Tuesday.

According to the Albany Police Department, about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday Zabrina Roberts, 32, was driving west on Clark Avenue in a Honda Accord when West deliberately rammed her vehicle from behind with his 2006 Cadillac CTS, pushing Roberts’ vehicle into an intersection.

The Accord then struck a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Kenneth Sizemore of Arlington, officials say. On impact, a trailer attached to the Silverado spun into West’s vehicle, causing it to leave its lane officials say.

According to police, once outside its lane, West’s vehicle then collided with a Toyota Yaris driven by April Allen of Albany as she was entering Liberty Expressway headed south. After the damage, West fled the scene on foot, officials said.

West faces charges of aggravated assault for the traffic crash incident, officials say, with additional charges pending. The suspect also has two unrelated outstanding warrants: simple battery and a probation violation.

APD investigators are requesting anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Travis West to call The Albany Police Department at (229) 431-2132 or Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers can result in a monetary reward.
