Production features students from throughout school’s Fine Arts program

ALBANY — The students at Radium Springs Middle Magnet School are ready to take supporters and theater lovers on a magic carpet ride Wednesday and Thursday with their annual spring musical “Disney’s Aladdin Jr.”

The production is a collaborative effort involving all the school’s Fine Arts disciplines. The Radium Middle Drama department is responsible for the acting and blocking, the Choral department focuses on singing, the Dance department provides choreography, an Arts department creates the musical’s sets, and the combined Orchestra and Band students will provide a musical medley from the “Aladdin” soundtrack to begin the show.

The musical allows students within the Radium Middle Fine Arts program to showcase group as well as individual talents.

Tickets for “Disney’s Aladdin Jr.” are $6 for adults and $3 for students and children. Tickets will be available at the door but may be purchased in advance from a Radium Springs Middle Magnet School Fine Arts student or at the school’s front office.
