Public safety roundup for Albany and Dougherty County

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 42 incidents on Monday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Robbery by force on the 500 block of 9th Avenue;

— Rape on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Drive Jr. Drive, the 300 block of Vick Street, the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the 900 block of Willow Oak Court and the 1700 block of Gillionville Road;

— Burglary on the 500 block of 9th Avenue, the 1800 block of Hilltop Drive, the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 1300 block of Towering Pines Lane and the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Drive;

— Reckless conduct on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

— Battery on the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue and the 700 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of West Society Avenue, the 200 block of Philema Road, the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road, the 1100 block of St. Andrews Drive, the 1300 block of 7th Avenue, the 400 block of Kingswood Drive, the 1200 block of Centennial Avenue, the 800 block of West Highland Avenue, the 2000 block of North Riverview Circle, the 10 block of Morningside Drive and the 500 block of West Society Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of West Society Avenue and the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;

— Entering auto on the 1900 block of Buck Lane, the 2300 block of Tuxedo Lane, the 700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 2500 block of Redwood Court;

— Public indecency on the 1100 block of West Waddell Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Driving on suspended license on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Unruly juvenile on the 400 block of Jeffries Avenue;

— Recovered property on the 2200 block of Pace Street;

— Criminal damage to property on the 2600 block of Erica Court;

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 16 incidents on Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Theft on the 1700 block Moultrie Road and the 3700 block of Radial Drive;

— Suspicious person on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Animal call on the 200 block of Lumpkin Road;

— Family violence on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway and the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;

— Loud music on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Monday. Calls included alarm activations, cat on roof, medical assist to EMS, unauthorized burning, vehicle fire, excessive heat,

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 77 calls on Monday. The incidents included 52 medical calls and 25 trauma calls.

The medical calls included eight chest pain calls, four seizure calls, three altered mental status calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, two OB/labor issue calls, two cardiac arrest calls and 20 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included 23 traffic accident victims and two falls.
